Since 2020, SB TOKYO has been implementing a range of sustainability initiatives across its events.
At SB’27 TOKYO-Marunouchi, we remain committed to making the event even more sustainable.

Attention

Bring your own bottle

Please bring your own bottle as much as possible.

Take public transit

Please use public transportation as far as possible.

Choose carbon-offset travel options

This contributes to offsetting CO2 emissions generated during transportation.

Dress warmly to help reduce heating demand

Please consider using cardigans, mufflers, inner wear with high thermal insulation, and rugs.

  • Share procurement policies favoring ethical and sustainably produced products and services with suppliers and request cooperation

  • Sustainable food (sources locally produced and unused ingredients, vegan-friendly, etc.)

  • Selecting a venue that helps minimize the environmental impact associated with travel

  • Encouraging participants and exhibitors to use public transportation

  • Encouraging participants and exhibitors to adopt Warm Biz attire to reduce heating demand

  • Reducing food waste by ordering appropriate quantities

  • Reusing name badge holders and lanyards

Management and human resources

  • Providing bilingual support in Japanese and English across the website and event information

  • Creating an inclusive venue for people with diverse religious practices, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ individuals, with facilities such as a prayer room and multipurpose restrooms

  • Delivering Next-Generation Co-Creation Programs

  • Considering gender balance in speaker

  • Working to close gender gaps among on-site staff

Local community

  • Collaboration with Local DMO (DMO Tokyo Marunouch)

  • Offer a formal program of contribution to the local community and legacy

  • We are hosting a free seminar event for business professionals in Marunouchi, the event location.
