Born in Tokushima on the island of Shikoku. Grew up in Yokohama, but now a resident of Tokyo. Graduated from Waseda University with a master’s degree in literature. A member of the Department of Liberal Arts, I am currently vice president of Tokyo University of Technology. I was formerly a translator of young adult books but am now working on a project focusing on the development of overseas study programs.

With his unique and creative educational policy, he has brought out the potential of students and created new values out of nothing. He has won five national championships so far. In 2018, first in Shikoku to win Japan’s first Tourism Koshien, winning the Japan  Tourism Agency  Commissioner’s Award, the Shikoku-chuo Mayor’s Award, and the Ehime of Love Face Award.

In 2019, commercialized the nation’s first inbound bonsai tour by high school students.

In 2020, awarded “Discover the Treasures of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Villages” (7th selection) by the Cabinet Secretariat (Prime Minister’s office) and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries. Received the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s Outstanding Teachers’ Award (Teachers’ Organization).
