Born in Tokyo in March 1969. Graduated from Sophia University in Tokyo and Joined Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd., a Japanese shipping company. Starting at the Osaka Branch, he was mainly engaged in containership and port terminal business. Worked overseas in USA, Europe, and Hong Kong.
Current position since April 2023. As Director General, Headquarters of Wellbeing & Lifestyle Business, responsible for the cruise, ferry, tugboat, global recruiting & resource consultation, and real estate businesses, Working hard on regional revitalization, and promotion of local and regional economic development through not only marine transportation but also activities in cooperation with the local communities and governments.
