Victoria Taylor is a recognized leader in sustainability reporting and communications, with over 20 years of experience advising global brands on best practice. As CEO of Flag, Vic leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering strategic insight, creative innovation and impactful reporting for clients navigating the evolving sustainability landscape. Vic and her team lead and advise on ESG and sustainability reporting programmes for high-profile organizations including Hitachi, McDonalds and General Motors.
A board member of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (ICRS) since 2020, Vic now serves as Vice Chair, where she plays a key role in advancing the profession. She is a regular speaker and facilitator at industry events, having recently chaired the plenary session at the UK Environmental Law Association’s annual conference, led a session on emerging trends in sustainability reporting at the ICRS Exchange in London.

In 2010, he coordinated Japan’s industry response to the U.S. Dodd-Frank Act through JEITA and, in 2011, became the first Japanese speaker at the UN Forum on Business and Human Rights in Geneva. He contributed to the IIRC’s Integrated Reporting Framework and served on METI’s Corporate Reporting Lab, laying the foundation for the Ito Report. Joining EY in 2013, he has led the sustainability team since 2015, supporting ESG investment and sustainable management. Since 2025, he has served as Asia East Regional CCaSS Leader. She went on to work in global internal and corporate communications, contributing to the realization of the mid-term management strategy through projects for corporate image establishment and future creation. Hiroyasu Abe joined Yamaha in 1993 and was responsible for materials research and the development of production technologies for both domestic and overseas factories within the Production Engineering Division. He received the Special Award at the 2011 National Commendation for Invention, presented by the Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation, for his work on wood modification technology.
In 2009, he voluntarily transferred to the Environment and CSR Division, and in 2015 he was appointed Manager of the CSR Promotion Office.

Sputniko! is a British–Japanese artist whose work playfully yet provocatively explores the intersection of technology, identity, and society. Through films, robotics, music, and interactive installations, she challenges social norms and imagines the ethical and cultural implications of emerging technologies. Between 2013 and 2017, she was an Assistant Professor at the MIT Media Lab, where she founded and directed the Design Fiction Group, and later served as Associate Professor at both the University of Tokyo and Tokyo University of the Arts. Named Vogue Japan Woman of the Year in 2013, Sputniko! has also been recognized as a TED Fellow, delivering a widely acclaimed talk at TED 2019, and as a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader in 2017. In recent years, she has expanded her practice into social entrepreneurship as Founder and CEO of Cradle Inc., a company dedicated to supporting women’s health and well-being in the workplace, now serving more than 80 major corporations across Japan.

A track and field athlete with ten years of experience, I have qualified for the Kanto Regional Championships for two consecutive years. At IHRP, I research “How can we create a world where electricity can be generated through running?” by developing a power-generating device.
My dream is to become an astronaut. In the Tokyo University of Science Space Education Program, I served as project leader and received the Business Partner Award. I completed the Next-Generation Global Leader Development Program and competed in the World Scholars Cup Global Round. After the GCI program at the Matsuo–Iwasawa Laboratory at the University of Tokyo, I continue to work there on LLM development. I also developed an AI coaching app that reached the final round of an app development competition. I see great potential in integrating space with sports, energy, and AI/data science.

My name is Tomo Hayakawa, and I am a high school student interested in combining technology and business to make innovation accessible and impactful. Through IHRP, I am researching how error propagation in different motion capture systems affects injury prevention accuracy. This work was inspired by a close friend who had to quit tennis after a back injury.
Alongside my research, I am a member and captain of my school’s tennis team. As an individual sport, tennis has taught me resilience and competitiveness. I hope to apply these experiences to create innovations that generate real-world impact.

Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Kyushu University (Ph.D. in Engineering), specializing in river engineering and river environmental studies. He advances value co-creation through transdisciplinary research and practice, promoting collaborative environmental management with citizens, governments, and companies across diverse watersheds.
His watershed restoration project in the Notori River was selected as the only project from Japan for an international research grant by the National Geographic Society, and he serves as a National Geographic Explorer. In the Kamisaigo River, he co-created a restoration project with local communities and river managers, transforming a concrete-lined channel into a nature-rich satoyama river. This initiative has been featured in nationally certified school textbooks, reaching approximately 300,000 children annually. His work has received numerous awards, including the Good Life Award (Minister of the Environment Grand Prize).

In 2018, relocated to Kentucky, USA, where engaged in quality improvement and engineering for bourbon products.

Masaaki Mezaki graduated from Keio University’s Faculty of Business and Commerce and holds an MSc in Social Anthropology from the London School of Economics (LSE). He began his career as a derivatives trader at Merrill Lynch, specializing in interest rate swaps, working in Tokyo, New York, and London. After leaving Merrill Lynch, he spent nearly a decade traveling to over 100 countries, exploring diverse cultures worldwide. In 2012, he founded Japan Mega Solar Inc. to achieve grid parity through solar power in Japan, later renaming the company GPSS Holdings Inc. in 2017 to expand sustainable energy initiatives nationwide. He actively promotes renewable energy through various media outlets. His publications include “Kōfuku Tojōkoku Nippon” (“Japan: A Developing Country in Happiness”). He also appears on FM Yokohama’s “Baile Yokohama” every Sunday at 21:30.
Yoichi Mori is a sustainability and corporate reporting professional with experience in auditing, assurance, and governance advisory. He has contributed to the development of international frameworks for integrated reporting and sustainability disclosure through the IIRC and CDSB, as well as to the development of GHG assurance standards through the IAASB. In Japan, he served as a Board Member of the Sustainability Standards Board of Japan (SSBJ) until March 2025. He currently serves as Technical Director of the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a member of the IFRS Foundation’s IRCC.

She began her career in public relations at a small and medium-sized enterprise before becoming an independent PR professional. She later founded With Media, providing public relations and strategic consulting services to startups and emerging companies.
In 2017, she supported the public relations strategy of Musca Inc., a bioresource-based venture company. In 2018, she was appointed Representative Director and CEO of the company. During her tenure, Musca received multiple awards, including Grand Prizes and SDGs Awards at national business competitions, and was selected as a J-Startup company by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, a government-backed program supporting high-growth startups. She played a key role in enhancing the company’s visibility and securing investment before stepping down in 2020.
In 2021, she joined Spice Factory Inc. as Director and Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO). She also serves as an Advisor for Public Relations and Sustainability Promotion at SPACE WALKER Inc., a private space rocket development company. He is on a member of the board of trustees of the association of Design about Strategy for Zone Industry and Zone Brand.He has won several awards for his teaching, including Shakaijin Kisoryoku(Business Basic Skills) Award by MEIT(Ministry of Economy、Trade and Industry) in 2008.
