Engaging with Society in Our Own Way: How nest Envisions the Future of Next-Gen Co-Creation
nest,” SB Japan’s official youth community, brings together young people aged 16–25 who are interested in sustainability. Members engage with social issues by leveraging their own strengths and interests. During this term, under the theme “Exploring Your Own Way of Engaging with Social Challenges,” nest members have reflected on the reasons for their involvement in social issues and their approaches best suited to them through hands-on activities. In this session, three representative members will present their key learnings based on their activities:
– Development of a chatbot to promote meaningful environmental actions,
– A pilot experiment encouraging sustainable consumption at retail locations, and
– Development of a card game that visualizes parental values to support students’ decision-making in educational pathways.
Additionally, at the end of the session, we will introduce the upcoming fifth term of the nest program starting this April. Reflecting on four years of activities so far, the session will also share nest’s vision for the future of next-generation co-creation.
