Evolving Practices in Human Rights & Environmental Supply Chains
In the context of evolving human rights and environmental due diligence frameworks, supply chain management has become a critical business issue with direct implications for corporate value, resilience, and competitiveness.
Effective implementation is challenged by the inherent complexity of supply chains, requiring engagement with suppliers, local rights holders, and a broader range of external stakeholders.
Building sustainable supply chains cannot be achieved by individual companies alone, underscoring the need to move beyond compliance-driven approaches toward dialogue, collaboration, and shared responsibility.
This session brings together companies with hands-on experience in implementing human rights– and environment-focused supply chain management to share practical insights gained through collaborative approaches.
Through real-world examples, the session will explore how effective and responsible supply chains can be developed and strengthened in practice.
