Served as General Manager of Corporate Communications Department in 2001, Executive Officer and General Manager of General Affairs Department in 2010, and Member of the Board, Executive Vice President and Corporate Functional Officer in 2014. Concurrently served as General Manager, Kansai Branch in 2017.

Joined ASICS Corporation as Corporate Adviser in January 2018, and appointed Representative Director, President and COO in March 2018. Appointed Representative Director, President, CEO&COO in March 2022, and Representative Director, Chairman and CEO in January 2024.

Victoria Taylor is a recognized leader in sustainability reporting and communications, with over 20 years of experience advising global brands on best practice. As CEO of Flag, Vic leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering strategic insight, creative innovation and impactful reporting for clients navigating the evolving sustainability landscape. Vic and her team lead and advise on ESG and sustainability reporting programmes for high-profile organizations including Hitachi, McDonalds and General Motors.
A board member of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (ICRS) since 2020, Vic now serves as Vice Chair, where she plays a key role in advancing the profession. She is a regular speaker and facilitator at industry events, having recently chaired the plenary session at the UK Environmental Law Association’s annual conference, led a session on emerging trends in sustainability reporting at the ICRS Exchange in London.

Ohtani joined Kao following a career in mass media to lead internal engagement efforts around corporate philosophy The Kao Way. She went on to work in global internal and corporate communications, contributing to the realization of the mid-term management strategy through projects for corporate image establishment and future creation. In 2018, Ohtani was appointed Director of ESG Promotion and ESG Public Relations, ESG Division, where she took on the responsibility of developing and promoting the ESG strategy the Kirei Lifestyle Plan. She was appointed Vice President, ESG Global Strategy in 2022, and has held her current position since 2025.
