Stock Sharing as a Catalyst for Reimagining Cities and Communities

In Europe, communities and cities are increasingly embracing “stock sharing”—the sharing of spaces, time, skills, and know-how—as a means to address local challenges and create value. This session will explore the current state and challenges of implementing stock sharing in Japan. By examining successful European cases, we will discuss how similar approaches can be applied in Japanese communities to foster collaboration, resource efficiency, and innovative problem-solving.
