“Harumichi” is a Senior General Manager of the Sustainability Management Division at Suntory Holdings, a leading global food and beverage company based in Japan. His portfolio focuses on pursuing Suntory Group’s global water security agenda, including the catchment protection initiative and the water education program as Biodiversity and Water Sustainability Lead. Harumichi has 18 years of experience leading various research projects in the technology development and fundamental research divisions of Suntory Group. Before assuming his current role in 2020, he spent a year as a Principal Researcher at Suntory’s Institute for Water Science, where he led the development of the fundamental technologies necessary for Suntory to expand its water stewardship globally.
