Makiko Aizawa worked for two companies before joining Kao in 2007. After being involved in the operation of multiple corporate citizenship activities, from 2017 she continued to drive forward CSR projects in the Sustainability Promotion Division, which would eventually become the ESG Division. Currently, in her role in the ESG Global Strategy, she contributes to efforts in respecting human rights.

Ms Joyce Chau joined amfori as Country Representative in Greater China in June 2011. Her role is to promote responsible trade through sustainability services including business social compliance (amfori BSCI), environmental performance (amfori BEPI), quality management (amfori QMI) and responsible trade policy.
Since Jan 2019, she has been Director APAC and leads the APAC team to drive open and sustainable trade in the region with direct presence in Australia, Greater China, Bangladesh, India and Türkiye.
In around 30 years, Ms Chau’s major expertise is in public affairs, stakeholder and media relations crisis, and issues management related to sustainability, CSR, and supply chains. Before amfori, she was Senior Vice President of HSBC Corporate Sustainability APAC Office, Dell China’s Corporate Communications Director. She also worked for HKSAR Government Innovation and Technology Commission, HK Airport Authority and GS1. She holds a BSoSc in Communications and an MA in Translation.
