Ocean Monitoring System for Achieving Sustainable Marine Utilization
Humanity utilizes the ocean in various ways, including fisheries, shipping, and offshore wind power generation. Additionally, the atmosphere and the ocean are inseparably connected, playing a significant role in climate change. Given this context, we believe that preserving a healthy marine environment is fundamental to the survival of humanity, while the sustainable utilization of the ocean serves as a cornerstone for human progress. To ensure proper marine utilization and conservation, scientific knowledge about the ocean is essential. However, the ocean remains a largely unexplored domain, with many unknown aspects. MizLinx aims to contribute to the coexistence of humanity and the ocean by scientifically elucidating marine environments, thereby working toward a sustainable future. In this presentation, we will introduce MizLinx’s current initiatives and our vision for the future.

Biomimicry: Innovation inspired by Nature's Wisdom
Biomimicry is the practice of consciously emulating the forms, processes, and ecosystems of living organisms in nature to create design and systems innovations that contribute to a sustainable society. As a breakthrough technology for building a regenerative society, biomimicry is gaining global attention as an approach that transforms our consciousness and actions. This session will explore the global trends, concrete examples, and further challenges in this field with practitioners from the biomimicry community.
